About

Starting from my experience as a long-time parent in special education, I went on to obtain training through the Federation for Children With Special Needs and through the Council of Parent Advocates and Attorneys, and now work as a private, non-attorney special education advocate.  I am also presently in the middle of attaining a Master of Science degree in literacy & reading instruction at Baypath University, which I chose as one of few programs in Massachusetts accredited by the International Dyslexia Association.  While my wheelhouse is dyslexia and specific learning disabilities, I also have personal and professional experience supporting autistic students and those with emotional disabilities and others.  Please visit my website for more information about my practice, to find resources on my quarterly newsletter, and to schedule a free 30-minute consult on my calendar.
