About
Allison Sardo, M.S. CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of pediatric speech and language disorders. With nearly 20 years of experience practicing professionally, Allison has provided speech and language services to children with a wide variety of support needs in the areas of early childhood language development and school-aged speech and language disorders, working in settings such as the Boston Public Schools, South Boston Head Start, Cambridge-Somerville Early Intervention. She has worked in private practice since 2018.
Alison has specialized training in The Hanen Centre® “It Takes Two To Talk”® parent coaching program for children with language delays, and in Orofacial Myology & Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders. She is certified nationally by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and through the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology. She has a professional special interest in and passion for neuroscience and how it impacts development, cognition, behavior, and language acquisition. She is a neurodiversity-affirming therapist.
