Amanda Young, OT, MSOT, OTR is an Occupational Therapy Supervisor and an Occupational Therapist in the Norwood clinic. She has a range of experiences working in schools and outpatient settings. Amanda uses a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. She has specialty training in sensory integration, Building Blocks reflexes, the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach to feeding, and is a provider for Therapeutic Listening. She has additional experience implementing Brain Gym(r), Bal-A-Vis-X, Handwriting Without Tears (r), and visual vestibular treatment techniques.
Insurance: South Shore Speech Therapies is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, and AllWays Health Partners networks. They are an “Out of Network” provider for other insurance plans that have Out of Network benefits.
