About
Anya Maloney, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist, literacy specialist, and executive function coach. She is the founder of Language Learning Link. She has a certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and has training and experience with a variety of reading programs and instructional approaches, including Lively Letters ^TM^, Lindamood-Bell Learning Systems (including LIPS) and Visualizing & Vernalizing), and the Project Read® Curriculum. She incorporates principles of the Orton-Gillingham Method as well as the Structured Word inquiry process in her work.
Anya has extensive training and experience teaching writing to students with and without learning disabilities, using methods from EmPOWER, Framing Your Thoughts, and materials from The Landmark School. She is trained in supporting individuals with Executive Function Skill weaknesses. She has over 15 years of experience working in private clinic and hospital settings as well as public and charter schools. She has extensive training in the evaluation and remediation of language disorders, disorders of reading and written language, and academic challenges associated with Dyslexia, ADHD, Nonverbal Learning Disabilities, Anxiety, and High Functioning Autism.
