About
Caroline Danehy, LMHC, has worked in schools and community mental health settings and has worked with many presentations including mood disorders, anxiety and related disorders, personality disorders, thought disorders, behavioral issues, and trauma. She enjoys working with clients across the lifespan.
Caroline tailors her therapeutic approach to fit the individual needs of the client. She describes her theoretical orientation as Psychodynamic interwoven with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and other interventions including somatic approaches. She has specialized training in trauma presentations, and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy. She also uses play-based approaches with children.
Insurance: All our counselors are in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum (UnitedHealthcare, United Behavioral Health, Mass General Brigham Health Plan/AllWays), Evernorth (formerly Cigna), and Point 32 Health (Harvard Pilgrim and Tufts commercial plans). For certain other plans, we are able to accept out of network benefits.
