Crystal Montoya, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She has worked in community-based settings and in a special education therapeutic school and supports individuals with a wide variety of difficulties and comorbidities, such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, mood disorders, trauma, grief/loss, relational and adjustment issues.
Crystal utilizes a number of theoretical approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, mindfulness practices and trauma informed care. Her therapeutic approach is focused on fostering. A collaborative experience in a safe, supportive and creative space. She sees patients exclusively online.
Insurance: All our counselors are in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum (UnitedHealthcare, United Behavioral Health, Mass General Brigham Health Plan/AllWays), Evernorth (formerly Cigna), and Point 32 Health (Harvard Pilgrim and Tufts commercial plans). For certain other plans, we are able to accept out of network benefits.
