Elizabeth Deutsch

About

Elizabeth Deutsch, SLP, Owner and Director, works with children and adolescents with speech, language, and literacy disorders. She is licensed by the state of Massachusetts and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has over 20 years of experience working with special needs populations. She has worked as a classroom aide in a therapeutic day school, as an early interventionist, and as a developmental therapist prior to becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Elizabeth holds advanced training in Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social Thinking ^TM^ program, PROMPT, and the Lindamood Visualizing and Verbalizing^TM^ Program (VV). She is also trained in using Orton-Gillingham (OG) techniques for reading instruction and Nancy Teilan’s Lively Letters Program. Additionally, she has a background in DIR/FloorTime Therapy and has sought out training under developmental specialists who incorporate multi-sensory learning materials into their treatment.
