About

Heidi Cope M.S., CCC-SLP, Student Coordinator, Voice & Neurogenic Communication Disorders Lead Clinician, is a licensed speech-language pathologist. She is interested in neurogenic and neurodevelopmental speech and language disorders across the lifespan including voice, resonance/Velopharyngeal Insufficiency and incompetence (VPI), fluency, motor speech, and pediatric and adult language disorders. 


Heidi has a certification in Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT) pediatric and adult. She has trained and worked in acute medical, outpatient medical, skilled nursing with individuals with dementia, and pediatric speech and language in the outpatient and private practice settings. She has also worked in the public school system as a speech assistant.


Insurance: Peer Projects – Therapy from the Heart accepts Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, Mass General Brigham (MGB), Tufts, United and private pay. If you have an insurance that we do not accept, we are happy to generate statements on request with standard insurance codes so that you may seek reimbursement on your own. 


Families are also welcome to use other related means of payment, such as a Health Spending Account (HSA) or Flex Spending account, to pay for therapy. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to inquire about your individual costs.
