I am a clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety, insomnia, obsessive compulsive disorder, and OCD related disorders. I work with children and adults of all ages. My therapeutic approach is primarily cognitive-behavioral, though I draw from a variety of theoretical orientations.
As for OCD treatment, I work closely with my patients to develop an ERP treatment plan to be carried out both within and between sessions. Over time, my role becomes more of an educator/consultant as you become more confident in your ability to manage anxiety, face your fears, and take more control in your treatment.
In addition, I also work with individuals suffering from generalized anxiety. This includes other anxiety disorders such as social anxiety, panic disorder and phobias. In session, I help patients to recognize their thinking styles, and to challenge the thoughts which may be getting in the way of them living happy and productive lives. I also work with patients to reduce overall levels of anxiety and encourage healthy behaviors in their everyday lives.
I have recently undergone training and been certified to work with people who struggle with insomnia. I work with clients to guide them back into a healthy sleeping routine. During sessions, I develop a treatment plan that is specific to each client. Together we will determine what works best for you and your lifestyle.
I do not accept payment through insurance, however you may be eligible for insurance reimbursement by requesting out-of-network coverage from your insurance provider. Individual sessions and professional workshops are both $300. Accepted payments are: cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
