John Chambers

About

John Chambers, MS, OTR/L, has been a registered and licensed occupational therapist since 2015. Prior to joining Peer Projects – Therapy from the Heart, John worked as an occupational therapist in the school system setting. He has served at one of the lead clinicians at Peer Projects – Therapy from the Heart since 2019.

John has clinical experience helping children with a variety of diagnoses with continued education in the areas of interoception, self-regulation and executive functioning. He also has formal training in the Zones of Regulation and Handwriting Without Tears programs. John enjoys incorporating families as much as possible and seeing children progress through therapeutic intervention.

Insurance: Peer Projects – Therapy from the Heart accepts Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, Mass General Brigham (MGB), Tufts, United and private pay. If you have an insurance that we do not accept, we are happy to generate statements on request with standard insurance codes so that you may seek reimbursement on your own. 

Families are also welcome to use other related means of payment, such as a Health Spending Account (HSA) or Flex Spending account, to pay for therapy. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to inquire about your individual costs.
