Kate Hamilton
About
Kate Hamilton, PT, DPT, Founder, is a licensed physical therapist specializing in pediatric and adolescent sports medicine with an emphasis on young female athletes, figure skating, gymnastics, and dance medicine. She is a physical therapist for Team USA Figure Skating. She worked with the team at the Olympic Training Center and traveled with Team USA to the Cup of China and NHK Trophy in Japan. Kate also spent several years as a physical therapist on traveling Broadway shows, including The Lion King, Wicked, War Horse, and Come Fly Away.
Kate has been a speaker at the Boston Children’s Hospital Dance Symposium, the Boston Children’s Hospital Female Athlete Conference, and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)’s Combined Sections Meeting, Annual Conference, and National Student Conclave. As a dedicated member of APTA, she has served as APTA Student Assembly President and is a Delegate to the APTA House of Delegates.
Insurance: Girl Fit Physical Therapy is currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tufts Commercial Plans, Harvard Pilgrim health Care, Aetna, Mass General Brigham Health Plan (previously Allways Health Partners), Wellpoint (previously Unicorn), and Medicare.
