Kathleen Austin

About

Kathleen Austin, OT, MSOT, OTR, is the Director of Occupational Therapy and an Occupational Therapist in the Norwood clinic. She has experience in public and private school settings, as well as inpatient acute care. Kathleen has advanced training in sensory integration theory, including certification to administer and interpret the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT). 

Additionally, Kathleen has specialized training in supportive behavior management techniques, tethered oral tissues (TOTs), Torticollis, and infant development. She has published with, and presented for, the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

Insurance: South Shore Speech Therapies is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, and AllWays Health Partners networks. They are an “Out of Network” provider for other insurance plans that have Out of Network benefits.
