Krista Healy
About
Krista Healy, SLP, is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist by the State of Massachusetts and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). Krista is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT), and BLS certified. Krista recently revived her certification as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS). After working in a variety of settings including acute care, outpatient rehab, skilled nursing, and mobile endoscopy, Krista decided to bring her expertise to her own private practice. She treats individuals from birth through geriatrics and centers children with developmental delays and adults with acquired neurological impairments in her practice.
Krista has received specialized training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT), VitalStim, and Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES). Through research and ongoing education, her practice is at the forefront in the speech community.
Insurance: The Speech Therapy Center accepts Harvard Pilgrim health Care, Tufts health Care (Commercial Plans), Mass General Brigham Health Plan (except for Mass General Brigham MassHealth), Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Health Plans Inc., Cigna (select plans), and Medicare.
