Kristy MacUmber, LMHC, has several years of experience in various settings e.g., clinic, home, and residential settings, with Stabilization Assessment and Rapid Reunification (STARR) placement. She's worked with youth and families referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and court involved clients referred by the Department of Youth Services (DYS). Kristy has also been a crisis intervention specialist in the emergency department of area hospitals and volunteered with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate).

Kristy works with adolescents, young adults, and adults. She offers supportive and directive counseling to those experiencing behavioral health concerns, including those in acute distress. She provides encouraging, positive, and solution-based therapy.
