Linda Murphy
About
Linda Murphy M.S., CCC-SLP, CEIS, is the founder of Peer Projects. She has worked with people of all ages for over 30 years. She began her speech language pathology career in Early Intervention. She has also worked in Relationship Development Intervention® (RDI) and has been an RDI Consultant. She is the author of Declarative Language Handbookand Co-Regulation Handbook. She continues to expand upon this work, which can be found at declarativelanguage.com. She has published in magazines and co-authored the book Social Thinking and Me with Michelle Garcia Winner. She regularly provides trainings to parents and professionals on social learning topics.
Linda has completed additional graduate courses in infant/toddler development and vision impairment, is a Certified Early Intervention Specialist, is trained in Natural Language Acquisition (NLA/Gestalt Language Processing) and has received formal training in PROMPTS for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT). She also holds Level 1 and Level 2 Certificates in Training from Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) North America.
Insurance: Peer Projects – Therapy from the Heart accepts Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, Mass General Brigham (MGB), Tufts, United and private pay. If you have an insurance that we do not accept, we are happy to generate statements on request with standard insurance codes so that you may seek reimbursement on your own.
Families are also welcome to use other related means of payment, such as a Health Spending Account (HSA) or Flex Spending account, to pay for therapy. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to inquire about your individual costs.
