Liz Whytock
About
Liz Whytock, MOT, OTR/L, earned her masters’ degree in Occupational Therapy from Bay Path University and has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Hartford. She is certified as an Occupational Therapist by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. She uses a strength-based approach to therapy, while prioritizing autonomy, self-advocacy, and play-based learning. Prior to becoming a speech-language therapist, she worked as a paraeducator in Canton Public Schools in Connecticut.
Insurance: The Power of Speech is private pay only for occupational therapy and accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield for speech therapy. They are “out of network” for all other insurances. Ome insurance plans provide “out of network” reimbursement for speech therapy and occupational therapy and may cover part or all of the cost of therapy at The Power of Speech.
