About

Mary Acunzo, Ph.D., has been providing neuropsychological services for children, adolescents and adults since 1996. She specializes in educationally-based neuropsychological assessment but is also a clinical psychologist so the whole clinical picture (social, emotional, psychiatric) is always considered. Her practice, Cape Cod Neuropsychology, is a leading provider of neuropsychological testing and treatment for clients living in Cape Cod & the Islands, Southeastern Massachusetts, and the Boston area.

No insurance is accepted. You can investigate whether you have out of network benefits. Dr. Mary will give you all the information you will need for reimbursement.

Dr. Mary Acunzo earned her B.S. in Psychology from Trinity College, Hartford, CT, and then went on to complete a M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Clark University, Worcester, MA.

Affectionately nicknamed “Dr. Mary” by her clients, she has worked at Harvard University Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge, MA, Cape Cod Human Services in Hyannis, MA, and the Thorne Clinic in Pocasset, MA (prior to private practice).

Dr. Mary has spoken at numerous schools as a guest speaker at Special Education Parents Advisory Council (SEPAC) meetings and other events, as well as at the ADHD Summit (Navigating ADHD sponsored) several times. She also provides in-service workshops for educators in the area of Learning Disabilities, ADHD, ASD, and giftedness.
