Melissa Houseknecht, MS, CCC-SLP, is a clinically certified & MA licensed speech-language pathologist with over 25 years of experience in the field. Melissa has extensive experience working with children who are struggling to develop expressive language due to neurodivergences such as autism, apraxia, sensory processing disorder & expressive language disorders, among others. As a neurodiversity-affirming speech-language pathologist, she does not use any compliance or reward-based therapy techniques.

Melissa continues to expand her knowledge and experience, particularly in the area of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) speech generating apps that provide children with access to a robust vocabulary.
