Michelle Britt-Thompson, M.S., CCC-SLP, is the owner of North Shore AAC, LLC. She is also a LAMP Certified Professional. She is a speech therapist turned dedicated trainer/educator, consultant, and advocate in the area of Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC). With a diverse professional background that spans over two decades, Michelle has advanced knowledge and experience with multiple AAC systems such as LAMP Words for Life ®, TouchChat, Proloquo2go, etc.

Michelle provides onsite training and consultations to schools, coaching for therapists, and guidance for families. The way she approaches AAC is not just about the technical aspects but about nurturing an environment that supports and encourages independent communication. Her strategies are hands-on, including co-treatments, whole-class AAC inclusion lessons, focusing on daily interaction, and creating tailored implementation plans and visual supports. She has received an award and a grant for her work.
