About
Nancy Hansen, OS, MSOT, OTR, is an Occupational Therapy Supervisor and Occupational Therapist in the Hingham clinic. She worked for many years in public schools and in an educational collaborative servicing children with diverse needs. She is skilled at treating children and adolescents with a wide variety of diagnoses, including those with sensory processing disorder, fine and gross motor delay, cortical visual impairment, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, autism, down syndrome, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, Williams Syndrome (WS), visual perceptual, and visual-motor difficulties.
Nancy is accomplished at encouraging functional skill development, and has specialty training in Theraputic Listening programs, the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, the Kawar Protocol/Astronaut Training, and Building Blocks reflexes and is proficient with implementing the Handwriting Without Tears (r ), Brain Gym ( r ), Bal-A-Vis-X, and visual-vestibular treatment strategies.
Insurance: South Shore Speech Therapies is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, and AllWays Health Partners networks. They are an “Out of Network” provider for other insurance plans that have Out of Network benefits.
