Olivia Palmer

Speech-Language Pathologist, Back Bay Speech Therapy

About

Olivia Palmer MS CCC-SLP is a licensed speech-language pathologist. She began her career at a specialty school for children with disabilities and at Connecticut Children’s outpatient center. She has worked with a variety of speech, language, and related disorders, including articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, feeding, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), voice, and literacy.


Olivia is a Natural Language Acquisition certified clinician, meaning that she was trained in the natural language acquisition framework and gestalt language processing. While earning her Master’s degree, she studied literacy skills in children with disabilities. She is passionate about providing neurodiversity affirming, play and routine centered care.


Insurance: Back Bay Speech & Occupational Therapy is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, HarvardPilgrim HealthCare, Harvard Pilgrim – United Healthcare Alliance, Mass Genral Brigham, and Cigna. They are out-of-network with the following but can provide documentation for reimbursement: Aetna, Tufts Health Plan, Tri-Care East, and United Health Care.
