Sheeva Abolhassani, SLP, is a pediatric speech and language therapist. She is licensed in Massachusetts, holds a certificate of clinical competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a member of the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC). She has over 10 years of experience working in school, hospital, nursing home, clinic, and home settings serving children and adults with needs ranging from mild to complex from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
Sheeva has lived in the United Kingdom, where she worked in a mainstream primary school and a special school with a key population of autistic teens and those with other special needs. She then worked for the National Health Services (NHS) with children ages 0-5, with a range of speech and language difficulties. Since arriving back in the US she is working full time to develop an application for autistic children to aid them in their speech, language, and communication skills.
Insurance: The Speech Therapy Center accepts Harvard Pilgrim health Care, Tufts health Care (Commercial Plans), Mass General Brigham Health Plan (except for Mass General Brigham MassHealth), Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Health Plans Inc., Cigna (select plans), and Medicare.
